About Us 

We are FromLabs, and there is a good chance you have not heard of us yet. Our software products power engagement of people in events, organizations, and restaurants.  Our clients are mainly in Indonesia, Singapore, Germany and USA with more countries to come online. Our development team is in HCMC with a couple of developers working remotely. The development team size is around 20 strong at the moment. 

About the Role 

You’ll love this role as you’ll utilise your passion for all things tech while leading a great bunch of people to deliver amazing digital projects in collaboration with our creative team. This opportunity allows you to showcase your leadership skills while demonstrating comprehensive hands-on aspects of web development and demonstrate your ability to step in and lead core and architectural development. 

Job Description 

• Hands-on front-end development, leading an experienced team on multiple projects including, but not limited to, campaign microsites, web based applications, large scale complex Javascript mobile and desktop websites and experiences
• Leading and supporting project developers to deliver successfully and on time to high technical quality.
• Hands-on implementation of core front-end project architectures and functionality allowing for a high degree of creative flexibility.
• Assessing and developing efficient and effective solutions and technologies to creative and technical challenges.
• Defining technical approaches, development requirements, technical documentation and development estimates.
• Continually reviewing technologies, tools, innovations and best practices and keeping up-to-date with the latest bleeding-edge industry developments.

Essential Skills 

• 3+ years of development experience, ideally as a team leader or an active team member.
• Experience working on interactive projects with multidisciplinary creative and technical teams.
• Broad experience and solid understanding of interactive web technologies and front-end development using Javascript / Vue.js / NextJS / HTML / CSS / SASS.
• Familiarity with Webpack, Package managers and Git automations.
• Enthusiasm for UI and UX development.
• A passion for planning, and documentation with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, thorough, and highly attentive to detail.
• Open-minded, cooperative and collaborative.
• Unbounded optimism and the desire to achieve the impossible!

Technical Skills 

• Software development:
  • Java: RestfulAPI, SpringBoot
  • Javascript: NextJS, NodeJS, ReactPrime, ReactNative, WebSocket
• Quality control:
  • Automation test: Selenium, BrowserStack, Jmeter
  • Frontend/backend testing
  • Security/accessibility testing
• DevOps: Source control, CI/CD
• Project management: Jira, MS Teams

Remuneration 

• Competitive salary depending on your level of experience

Full time, working hours from 8:30 – 12:00 & 13:30 – 18:00 Monday to Friday weekly
