Before adopting a metaverse-based office technology, we faced several challenges&nbsp;due to our dispersed offices. Communication was often troubled due to lack of face-to-face discussion, and team members struggled to work together effectively. However, with the adoption of metaverse-based office technology, we can overcome these challenges and improve our workflow. The metaverse office provided a virtual workspace where team members could interact with each other and collaborate on projects in real-time. This allowed for faster communication and increased productivity, as team members could work together seamlessly without the need for travel or physical presence.&nbsp;

In addition to improved communication and collaboration, FromLabs metaverse office also provided a customizable workspace for each team member. The virtual office allowed employees to choose their preferred workspace, adjust lighting and sound, and even create virtual meeting rooms for specific projects or teams. This customization helped to create a sense of ownership and personalization among team members, leading to increased motivation and engagement.&nbsp;
As a result of adopting a metaverse-based office technology, we are&nbsp;able to improve our&nbsp;workflow, communication, and collaboration. Overcome the challenges of working across different time zones and locations, and work together effectively as a cohesive team.&nbsp;Using our own office as a case study we have proven that&nbsp;the metaverse office can provide a customizable and seamless virtual workspace that allows team members to work together effectively from anywhere in the world.&nbsp;
Of course, metaverse could not yet replace real-life experiences, but with it we can improve our workflow and connectivity. Metaverse-based Office Technology

Since 2015, FromLabs Challenge has become one of our exceptional products. Built to create an engaging and supportive momentum for physical activity, FromLabs Challenge tries to create a healthy community and environment. Throughout years of developing features into a better version of FromLabs Challenge, this year, we further developed the product with the recent collaboration with Singapore Poly.&nbsp; &nbsp;
Singapore Polytechnic held an event where they conducted a&nbsp;1200km walking challenge. The event requires a few customizations for the platform, so we received a request for adjustments from the initial products we usually offer. Through many discussions and considerations, we achieved a few custom developments that had been requested.&nbsp; &nbsp;
First, automated data input through integrated apps such as Fitbit, Google Fit, and Apple Health to import the steps that have been recorded through selected apps and convert it to the distance that can be logged with FromLabs Challenge. This way, the data will be more precise and efficient than self-input data from each user.&nbsp; &nbsp;
Second, we added an external feature for mini challenges outside the walking challenge that can be trackable and completed with redeemable points to boost user participation. With Badge Management, the admins can manually award the badge and track whether the participants had redeemed their prizes. &nbsp;
Third, we customized a User Management module for admins to enable or disable a participant in logging their trips&nbsp;due to a requirement&nbsp;that admins need to manually check outside of the system. &nbsp;
With this project, FromLabs Challenge handled 574 participants from Singapore Poly to join in the fun of the 1200km walking challenge. We&rsquo;re happy to participate in this healthy and active movement in the community and we can&rsquo;t wait to have more projects and discover more prospered features with FromLabs Challenge. &nbsp;

For almost 11 years of building the company together, FromLabs has built and developing of ideas and inspirations from women. As an IT company, we realized that the strong mind and sharp thinking of brilliant women had become essential to our continuity as a company.
This month we are celebrating international women's Day and have a little tribute to the women behind FromLabs for their significant contribution and creative ideas in building FromLabs together. Their incredible and brilliant mind keeps the spirit of FromLabs inflame.

International women's Day is celebrated on the 8th of march, but we always ensure all of our employees, including these amazing women, have their rights every day.

International Women's Day

FromLabs had recently worked with FAST, the community for a foreign domestic worker in Singapore. Cultivate domestic workers with social support and training, FAST provides their members with many services such as including counseling, mediation, providing legal and humanitarian aid, and holds various events for domestic workers in Singapore. FAST offers all the necessary amenities to support the neighborhood, including a lounge, a gym and sports hall, a karaoke room, and more.&nbsp;&nbsp;
These facilities must be kept up so that FAST members can use them comfortably. By using Smart Door Lock in FAST's facilities, FromLabs promotes and improves members' comfort while utilizing the facilities. To enhance the automation for access, FromLabs has just developed IoT based Smart Door Lock.&nbsp;&nbsp;
We expect to improve efficiency by eliminating one registration step by connecting the internet to the embedded device, in this case a door. One access card is required to operate our door lock system. Online facility reservations can be made by registered members, and the access card will automatically update with the most recent reservations to grant door access throughout the period of the bookings. By taking this action, the front desk process will be shortened. Currently, members must go through several steps, including standing in line to register in person before using the facilities.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
The transition from a traditional registration process to new access for the community will be advantageous to both members and FAST administration. And by enabling automation, minimizing safety risks like unregistered members accessing the area, and accumulating data for room users in order to improve the convenience of facility use. An automated schedule will also assist the user in avoiding double bookings.&nbsp;&nbsp;
For the time being, FAST will utilize the device in the clubhouse's gym and karaoke lounge. With our development system, FromLabs sees the future and identifies various chances. And as a tech business, we work to improve how IoT technologies are used in the future.&nbsp;
